It was a pretty dry Thursday across East Texas, and most of us made it back into the 90s, but temperatures are expected to be much warmer as we finish the work week and head into the weekend. Some of the models are hinting at topping out over 100 on Friday.
Expect lows overnight to be in the upper 70s, it will be humid and muggy again, but not as bad as last night.
Shower and storm chances continue to decrease as we end the work week, with a 20% chance Friday, and 20% chance for the northern counties on Saturday, and a 20% chance on Sunday as well. Temps will also be on the rise heading into the weekend, expect mid-90s to firmly take hold once again over East Texas. Sunshine and mid-90s will become the dominant pattern as we head into next week.
