TYLER, Texas — For the first time this spring we are going to have a dry weekend. On top of all the sunshine we are expecting to see, high temps will reach the mid 70s on Saturday and low 80s on Easter Sunday. Although it will be a bit cooler Saturday, the winds will be lighter, just about 5 miles per hour out of the west. The winds will pick up speed on Sunday and should come from the south.  Monday looks dry as well but more showers and thunderstorms will return to East Texas by the middle of next week. So enjoy the beautiful weather while you can folks, and have a wonderful Easter.

We should dip down to the mid to 50's . We will see clear skies tonight, which means we'll have a cool morning Sunday. Winds will be coming from the northwest at 5 to 10 miles per hour.

Sunday expect mostly sunny skies, with a high temp in the low 80's for Easter Sunday. Expect plenty of sunshine and a bit breezy, a near perfect day for Easter.

Next Week:

As we head into next week rain chances return to East Texas for Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.  Temps expected to be in the mid to upper 70's with mostly cloudy skies.

Monday looking to stay mostly dry with partly sunny skies and a high temp in the upper 70's.

Enjoy your first sunny and dry weekend in what seems like an eternity East Texas, you've earned it!
