EAST TEXAS —

The muggy and toasty weather pattern we are heading into will continue to stay locked in over East Texas for the next 7 days. Our next best chance for rain stays out of the forecast until Tuesday.

Tonight will be another mostly clear night, with lows that are expected to be in the upper 70s. This will continue to be the case for the next few nights due to the high dew points. Partly cloudy skies and mid to upper 90s will persist from now through the weekend, with at least a small chance for rain each day. Rain chances and coverage look to increase as we head into next week, with a cold front passing Monday into Tuesday. Humidity will be unrelenting over the next 7 days.

Thursday looking to be hot and muggy with highs reaching the upper 90s, and an overnight low in the upper 70s. Mostly sunny skies during the day with clouds coming back on Friday.

Try to stay cool over this next very humid week East Texas!
