TYLER, Texas — Our all too familiar summer weather pattern will be returning as we head into the weekend. Although temperatures are not forecast to hit the triple digits, we are going to get close this evening through Tuesday each day.
On top of the hot weather, chances for showers seem very unlikely for most of the region. Most of models are only hinting at any chances for rain around 10 percent until late into next week. So don't count on any afternoon cool downs from pop up showers or storms.
Skies should be mostly clear to clear overnight, with warm and humid conditions remaining. Winds will shift to the southeast, and temps will fall to the upper 70s. Rain chances are not expected overnight.
The weekend is looking to be hot and humid once again around East Texas. We are expecting mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies for Sunday.
