TYLER, Texas — Our all too familiar summer weather pattern will be returning as we head into the weekend. Although temperatures are not forecast to hit the triple digits, we are going to get close this evening through Tuesday each day.

On top of the hot weather, chances for showers seem very unlikely for most of the region. Most of models are only hinting at any chances for rain around 10 percent until late into next week. So don't count on any afternoon cool downs from pop up showers or storms.

Tonight:

Skies should be mostly clear to clear overnight, with warm and humid conditions remaining. Winds will shift to the southeast, and temps will fall to the upper 70s. Rain chances are not expected overnight.

The Weekend:

The weekend is looking to be hot and humid once again around East Texas. We are expecting mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies for both Saturday and Sunday. We are also expecting a 10% chance for a stray shower or storm each day. Temps will be in the mid to upper 90s, and feels like temps will easily remain above 100 degrees.

Next Week:

Mostly sunny skies and a small 10% chance for a rain shower or storm will continue through the weekend and into early next week. Temps in the mid to upper 90s, with feels like temps over 100 degrees, will be sticking around for Monday as well.

Tuesday and Wednesday will be about the same as Monday, with a few more clouds around by Wednesday. Rain chances will remain around 10% and temps will remain in the mid to upper 90s.

Thursday could bring some rain showers and storms back to the region. Expect partly cloudy skies, with a 20% chance for some showers and storms throughout the day. Temps should stay in the mid-90s.

Get ready for another hot weekend East Texas! Staying cool remains a priority!
