TYLER, Texas — Highs will continue to reach the mid 90s for the rest of the work week and into the weekend for our area. Rain chances will be very slim and likely confined to Deep East Texas until early next week. Although no heat advisory is currently in effect, that doesn't mean you should take the heat lightly. Make sure you are staying cool and staying hydrated!

Tonight - Saturday:
Clouds will build back into East Texas overnight tonight, making things partly to even mostly cloudy by Friday morning. Temps will fall to the mid-70s overnight, but 70s won't start popping up until after midnight. Winds will be from the south around 5 to 15 mph.
Dry weather will dominate the next few days, with rain chances remaining pop up related and very minimal in nature. Expect some clouds around each morning, giving way to mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies for both Friday and Saturday afternoon.
Any rain chances for these days will be confined to afternoon pop ups, and is currently forecast as less than 10% and mostly just in Deep East Texas.
Highs each day will be around the mid-90s, with lows each night in the mid-upper 70s.
Sunday will continue to stay very similar to Friday and Saturday, with partly cloudy to mostly sunny skies. Rain chances will go up just a little bit, with a 10% chance for rain, mostly in deep East Texas, and mostly pop up related. Temps will remain in the mid-90s with feels like at or above 100.
Monday & Tuesday:
Clouds will start to increase on Monday as rain and storm chances return to the region. Expect skies to become mostly cloudy by Monday night with rain and storm chances continuing into Tuesday. Right now the chance for rain and storms is 50% on Monday and 40% on Tuesday. Skies should start to clear some by late Tuesday.
Temps during this period will start to cool thanks to the clouds and the rain. Expect highs on Monday to just reach around 90 with highs Tuesday staying in the mid-80s.
Wednesday & Thursday:
Wednesday and Thursday could see some lingering rain around the region, and is certainly likely to see lingering cooler temperatures. Expect partly cloudy skies on Wednesday with a 20% chance for a few showers or a storm. Thursday will be partly cloudy to mostly sunny with rain chances falling to just 10%
Temps are expected in the mid-80s for Wednesday, rising to the upper 80s by Thursday.
