TYLER, Texas — This Eveing and Tonight:
A weak line of showers and storms will continue to push through East Texas this evening and the storms are expected to stay non severe. This line will slowly keep moving through East Texas, eventually exiting as we head into Tuesday evening. East Texas is still under a Marginal Risk (level 1 of 5) for severe weather though this evening.
Showers and clouds will move on out tonight and temperatures will stay in the low 70s this evening and dip into the mid 60s by the morning. Expect partly cloudy skies and a light breeze tonight.
Wednesday & Thursday:
Rain chances will stick around on Wednesday and Thursday, but this will only be around 20%. Skies will be clearing out on Wednesday, with a few showers or a storm lingering around. Skies will be partly cloudy on Thursday, with rain chances coming from the risk for a few pop ups.
Temps on Wednesday will be near 89, with a high of 90 expected on Thursday.
Friday and Memorial Day Weekend:
Conditions for Friday and the weekend are looking pretty nice around East Texas! Skies are expected to be mostly sunny, with a 10% chance for pop ups on Friday. This chance will be gone for the rest of the long weekend, but the mostly sunny skies remain. Temps will stay in the upper 80s to low 90s and things will be a bit humid. Even so, with dry weather expected, make sure you enjoy the holiday weekend!
