TYLER, Texas — Severe weather has been ongoing throughout the day Saturday over East Texas, but that risk will exit the region early Sunday morning. Most of Deep East Texas will remain under an Enhanced Risk for severe weather through 7 am Sunday, but the bulk of the storms will be gone before this time. Let's dive into the forecast for more details. 


 For tonight temps will drop down to the low 70's across East Texas. Skies will be partly cloudy and storms will continue to move through Deep East Texas and start to clear up by Monday morning. 

This Week:

Chances for rain and storms look like they will continue into next week, so keep the rain gear close. Right now Monday is looking mostly cloudy with a 20% chance for a few storms in the forecast. Tuesday will be mostly cloudy with a 70% chance for rain and storms. There are signs Tuesday could bring strong storms back to East Texas, as the Storm Prediction Center has put northern East Texas under a Slight Risk for severe weather. Temps for Monday looking to be in the upper 80's and dropping down into the low 80's for Tuesday. 

A 20% chance for rain and storms will be around the region on Wednesday, with otherwise mostly sunny skies. Mostly sunny skies  will continue Thursday and Friday. Temps each day will be in the upper 80's and even possibly the some low 90's.
