TYLER, Texas — As we head toward the Memorial Day weekend all eyes are on the forecast. Hot and humid seems to be the trend, but will we see any rain?

Rain chances seem pretty unlikely today, but we cannot completely rule out a quick pop up shower. This chance will only be around 10%. Skies will be mostly cloudy this morning, heading toward the partly cloudy range as we go into the afternoon and evening. Temps will be near 90 with the winds staying a bit breezy. Winds will be coming out of the south, blowing around 10 to 15 mph with some gusts near 20 mph.
Conditions tonight will be pretty calm and quiet. Expect partly cloudy skies and dry weather. Temps will fall to the low 70s. Winds will be breezy, coming from the south at 10 to 15 mph.
Friday and The Memorial Day Weekend:
Conditions for Friday and the weekend are looking pretty nice around East Texas! Skies are expected to be partly cloudy to mostly sunny, with a 10% chance for pop ups each day. Temps will stay in the upper 80s to low 90s and things will certainly be humid.
Even so, with dry weather expected, make sure you enjoy the holiday weekend!
Next Tuesday & Wednesday:
Rain chances will start to creep back up by next Tuesday and Wednesday, but these chances for rain still look pretty minimal.
For Tuesday expect partly cloudy skies, a high of 89, and a 20% chance for a few showers or a storm. Rain/storm chances rise to 30% for Wednesday, with mostly cloudy skies and a high of 86.
