LONGVIEW — UPDATE: The Longview Police Department identified the man who led officers on a chase as 18-year-old Jadyn Stinson.
According to Sergeant McCarter, Stinson was arrested for unlawful carrying of a weapon and evading arrest.
He is currently in the Gregg County Jail.

The Longview Police Department arrested a man after he led officers on a foot chase that started at around 11 a.m. Tuesday near Mobberly Avenue.
According to police, the department got a call about someone who was armed.
When police arrived to the scene and approached the suspect, he ran, leading them on a foot chase that eventually ended with his arrest and charges.
The suspect is charged with evading arrest and is expected to receive an additional charge.
No one was injured during the chase.
