TYLER - TJC point guard Brian Warren signed with the University of Texas at Arlington. The sophomore lead his team to the NJCAA Region XIV tournament championship to advance to the national championship this year. Warren averaged 15 points, 2 rebounds, and 5 assists per game as a sophomore. According to the basketball star he's ready to take the next step in his career while fulfilling another leadership role.
"I feel like I can bring a lot to the table scoring making my teammates better just leading them down the right way, I'm looking to bring some leadership because they have 8 seniors that are leaving they have a couple of red shirts and walk-on's that are still there, so being just a leader," says Warren.
