Patrick Mahomes' 15 and the Mahomies donate $100k to provide meals for Kansas City students, families affected by coronavirus pandemic

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Whitehouse Native and Super Bowl MVP Patrick Mahomes and his foundation the "15 and the Mahomies" are helping ease the anxiety during the coronavirus pandemic.

The "15 and the Mahomies" foundation is donating $100,000 to Kansas City public school lunch programs and local organizations that provide meals and household goods to families in need.

"15 and the Mahomies sends its prayers to all impacted by the coronavirus pandemic, and looks forward to brighter days, as this too shall pass," the foundation tweeted. 

Other athletes and celebrities like Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, and Warriors Star Steph Curry are also donating to help ensure kids are provided with daily meals.
