RUSK COUNTY, Texas — Rescue crews were able to recover a vehicle after submerged in the Angelina River on Monday morning.
According to the Rusk County Rescue Unit, crews responded to FM 1798 between FM 225 and FM 839 at the Angelina River for reports of a submerged vehicle.
When crews arrived on scene, they used a boat to take the vehicle out of the water and onto land.
The vehicle was turned over to the Rusk County sheriff for additional investigation. No bodies or further evidence was found inside after inspection.
