The Tyler Police Department arrested 22-year-old Nicolas Sanchez Jr. He was booked into the Smith County Jail for possession of marijuana along with warrants for kidnapping, assault family violence, parole violation and several Tyler Municipal Court warrants.

The case will now be forwarded to the Smith County District Attorney’s Office for prosecution


TYLER (KYTX) - Tyler Police are seeking the whereabouts of 22-year-old Nicholas Sanchez Jr. for three outstanding warrants that include Kidnapping, Assault Family Violence and a State Parole Violation.

Sanchez is a known gang member and is considered to be armed and dangerous. He has multiple tattoos that include tear drops under his left eye and the shape of Texas under his right eye with “903” inside of the Texas.

On June 12, 2015 Sanchez forced his ex-girlfriend into a vehicle against her will and assaulted her as the vehicle sped away with her inside. Sanchez released her later in the day under a false hope of getting back together.

Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Sanchez is urged to contact the Tyler Police Department, at 903-531-1000, or Crimestoppers at 903-597-CUFF (903-5972833). Crimestoppers will pay up to $1,000 for information that leads to the arrest and charges filed against the suspect in this case or any felony case.
