Dream job? The Texas Rangers are hiring for a 'trophy transport coordinator'

The Texas Rangers won their first World Series title. Now, they need some help showing off the trophy.

ARLINGTON, Texas — Boy, do we have a dream job for you die-hard Rangers' fans out there.

The Texas Rangers just won their first-ever World Series title – and now they need some help showing it off. The team posted a job for a "trophy transport coordinator." That's right, you can get paid to travel with the Commissioner's Cup from place to place – making sure it gets there safely and in one piece (obviously).

According to the job posting, the role "involves extensive travel across the region and state and requires meticulous planning, handling, and logistics expertise to ensure the items arrive in perfect condition at their destination." This person also needs to be able to work flexible hours, according to the posting.

The trophy has been displayed in Arlington over the holidays as part of the team's World Series tour. There are a handful of days left in the year you can still see the trophy at Globe Life Field and take a photo with it. Click here for a list of those dates.

And if you'd like to throw your hat in the ring to become the Texas Rangers Trophy Transport Coordinator, you can apply here.
