Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 202 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Flooding is already occurring in the warned area. Between 4 and 8 inches of rain have fallen. Numerous roads remained closed due to flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... College Station, Bryan, Madisonville, Riverside, Bedias, Kyle Field, Iola and Wellborn. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Widespread showers and thunderstorms will develop and move through portions of the Brazos Valley/Piney Woods this afternoon into tonight. Some of these storms may become strong to severe and produce heavy rainfall that may lead to localized flooding especially in areas with poor drainage or low-lying areas.
