Texas A&M basketball player Julius Marble arrested, charged with sexual assault

According to jail records, his bond is posted at $50,000.

COLLEGE STATION, Texas — Texas A&M Basketball's senior forward Julius Marble has been arrested and charged with sexual assault on Thursday, April 18, according to Brazos County jail records.

The jail records show the 23 year old was arrested by the College Station Police Department for the offense that reportedly took place back on Oct. 14, 2023 and he is being held on a $50,000 bond.

According to an arrest report, on that October day, the victim reported that she had been sexually assaulted by Marble at his home earlier that morning.

The report states that an officer with College Station PD responded to a sexual assault report call for service at Baylor Scott & White Hospital around 4:55 a.m. When the officer arrived, he talked with the victim who had apparent bite marks on her body and face, according to the arrest report.

The report goes on to say the victim told the officer that she was out at the Good Bull Icehouse in the Northgate Entertainment District around 1 a.m.

While she was the bar, the victim reportedly met up with Marble and some friends, according to the report.

The report states that Marble invited the group to his apartment around 2:15 a.m. and while there, Marble reportedly made "unwelcome sexual advances," towards the victim multiple times even though she told him no, even pushing him away at one point.

According to the arrest report, Marble then proceeded to sexually assault the victim.

The victim received a sexual assault medical forensic exam while she was at the hospital and she was contacted by a detective soon after, the report states.

Now, after months of investigating, an arrest warrant was issued for Marble, he was arrested and currently sits in Brazos County Jail.
