GREGG COUNTY, Texas — The Gregg County Sheriff’s Office arrested six suspects who allegedly owed delinquent child support during a multi-agency sting operation.

According to the Gregg County Sheriff's Office, the sting began at about 4 a.m. with Gregg County deputies and Longview Police officers.

The teams received information on the suspects from the Texas Attorney General's Office.

Six people were arrested in the sting:

  • Patrick Blanton
  • Armondo Flores Jr.
  • Clint Harris
  • Alejandro Rosales
  • Johnny Youngblood

The Gregg County Sheriff’s Office will continue efforts to locate individuals that were not arrested during this first warrant sweep.

The last major child support round up happened in 2015 when 23 people were arrested. The Gregg County Sheriff's Office says Flores Jr. was one of those arrested in 2015.

Lt. Joshua Tubb, PIO for the Gregg County Sheriff's Department says every bit of information they received during Monday's sweep, will be put to use for further investigation.

"People with warrants for child support are getting arrested all the time," Lt. Tubb said. "Anytime our deputies or other law enforcement agencies throughout the county come in contact with them they have a child support warrants, they're going to jail."

Anyone with delinquent child support is asked to contact the Office of the Attorney General before visited by a roundup team.
