2 men get federal prison time for trafficking meth across East Texas

According to officials, Williams would transport large amounts of meth from the Houston area to Shelby County, where he would then distribute to dealers.

SHELBY COUNTY, Texas — Two East Texas men have been sentenced to federal prison for trafficking meth in parts of East Texas.

Christopher Shane Osborn, 46, of Lufkin and Terrence D. Williams, 33, of Center both pleaded guilty to conspiring to possess with intent to distribute meth in separate cases. 

Williams was identified as the primary source of supply for a drug trafficking organization distributing large quantities of meth near Shelby County.

According to officials, Williams would transport large amounts of meth from the Houston area to Shelby County, where he would then distribute to dealers. 

In July of 2022, law enforcement attempted to conduct a traffic stop on Williams who fled from the officers leading police on a high-speed chase. During the chase, Williams threw a backpack containing almost four kilograms of meth from the vehicle.

Williams was sentenced to 17 years in federal prison. 

According to the press release, Osborn was a member of a drug trafficking organization distributing meth in the Lufkin area since 2020. He was sentenced to seven years in prison.
