TYLER, Texas — Andy's Frozen Custard in Tyler will open a downtown location in the Plaza Tower in the spring of 2020.

According to the Plaza Tower, Fitzpatrick Architects is helping Andy’s Downtown design a creative, welcoming space for friends, communities and families to sit and stay a while. With outdoor seating as well, Andy’s vision is to serve as the sweet-treat headquarters for a thriving and growing downtown, making it even easier for people to hang out, socialize and make memories.

“We are excited about moving north,” said Galen Taylor, owner and operator of both Andy’s locations in Tyler. “We see the Tyler Square as a great location that will give us the opportunity to serve even more people in Tyler. We are looking forward to working with Tim Brookshire, Garnett Brookshire, Andy Bergfeld and the Plaza Tower team. We are like-minded in wanting to serve and provide a great experience for our customers.”

Andy’s will be joining Café 1948 and True Vine Brewing as the latest businesses to join the already robust downtown community that includes El Lugar, Jack Ryan’s, Don Juan’s, The Liberty Theater, Rick’s on the Square, Moocho Burrito, Culture ETX, The Foundry, ETX Brewing Company, Moss and many more.
