KILGORE, Texas — News-Journal Sports Editor Jack Stallard once again will invite the community to his annual Big Daddy’s Birthday Walk on Saturday at Synergy Park in Kilgore.
The event will collect donations for the Kilgore College food pantry.
After Stallard began an exercise program in 2016, three years later he decided he wanted to find a way to “give back to the East Texas community that adopted me when I moved from Tennessee almost 40 years ago,” he wrote in a previous column.
