LONGVIEW, Texas — Heartisans Marketplace in Longview officially opened its Heartisans Village housing "community" on Thursday with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
The event was held at the entrance to Heartisans Village on Nikki Court in Longview.
Julee Rachels, founder and chief executive officer of the nonprofit organization, also announced during the ceremony that Evie Henson will be Heartisans' first executive director.
