PALESTINE, Texas — The city of Palestine has issued a boil water notice for its customers following recent flooding from the Neches River on Thursday afternoon.
According to city officials, due to the excess rainfall that accumulated, the Neches River flooded over causing for a boil water notice to be enforced.
Officials are alerting the community the boil water notice is expected to go through Monday, Jan. 29.
The public water system will issue a notice to costumers once the boil water notice is rescinds.
