GLADEWATER, Texas — An 18-wheeler fire has westbound lanes of I-20 blocked near Liberty City.
At roughly 7:30 p.m. Thursday, crews responded to an 18-wheeler that had caught on fire on I-20 just west of Joy Wright Mountain Rd.
According to SCESD2 spokesperson Nikki Simmons, the fire started in the 18-wheeler cab which was fully involved before spreading to the trailer. No injuries have been reported.
