LONGVIEW, Texas — The new Komatsu Administration and Employee Center in Longview represents the past, present and future of one of the city's longest operating businesses.
On Wednesday, company officials and local employees celebrated the grand opening of the new 56,000-square-foot, three-story building that presents a modern and commanding presence where it rises above High Street at the Estes Parkway entrance.
Its exterior design is representative of the heavy equipment manufactured on site, just across the street from the newly reconfigured Mobberly Avenue/Estes Parkway entryway into Longview.
