RUSK COUNTY, Texas — Emergency outage leaves thousands of people without power in Rusk County Friday night.
According to the Rusk County Electric Cooperative, due to a fault within the AEP/SWEPCO transmission equipment an emergency outage is required.
This outage will affect RCEC customers in the areas below:
- Church Hill
- Sand Hill
- East and south Henderson
- Beckville
- Pine Hill
Certain areas will be without power until the repairs are made, RCEC said.
RCEC said the estimated repairs could take one hour.
