TYLER, Texas — The nonprofit, PATH (People Attempting to Help), will host its annual Mardi Gras celebration fundraiser in February featuring live music and a royal court.
PATH is letting the good times roll - or as the French say "Laissez les bons temps rouler!" on Feb. 13 at Stanley's Famous Pit Barbecue. The fundraiser will be from 6 to 10 p.m.
The event will kick off with a second line parade at 6 p.m. at Stanley's. It will also include live music, a special Cajun menu items for purchase, event-exclusive beer and beverages, and drawings and door prizes. PATH will receive 5% of all food and beverage sales.
The 2024 Mardi Gras King and Queen will be crowned among the court candidates. The king and queen are chosen based on who within the court raises the most money.
