WASHINGTON, D.C., USA — The Washington football team is reportedly releasing Palestine High School alum and veteran running back Adrian Peterson.
According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the NFL Network was the first to report the news.
In the past two season, the 35-year-old rushed for 1,940 yards and 12 scores.
Peterson has been in the NFL since 2007. ESPN reports he's fifth on the all-time rushing list with 14,216 yards. He's also fourth in rushing touchdowns with 111.
