WHITEHOUSE, Texas — The Texas Department of Transportation will close County Road 2171, also known as Willingham Road, in Whitehouse beginning Thursday for a bridge replacement.
East Texas Bridge, Inc. is the contractor for the project.
The existing bridge, which is just south of the Whitehouse city limits, will have a new box culvert structure.
TxDOT expects the project to last about four months depending on weather. In the meantime, the road will be closed.
