FLINT, Texas — Nightly work will begin from Gresham to Flint on April 11.
According to TxDOT, the $14.5 million FM 2493 project will widen the two lanes to a four-lane divided roadway with a flush median.
The work will occur nightly from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. at the intersection of FM 2493 and FM 346 in Flint.
The anticipated completion date is set for fall 2022.
Caution is advised as the project is underway. The contractor will clear the right-of-way utilizing lane closures as needed.
The construction work zone speed limit will be 45 mph.
