LONGVIEW, Texas — A cat that had been missing for more than a year was recently reunited with his owners thanks to a microchip.
In a Facebook post, West Loop Animal Hospital in Longview shared "Felix's" story.
According to the shelter, Felix was staying in Longview while his owner moved out of his own home.
While in Longview, Felix got out and was lost for more than a year.
Felix was then brought to the West Loop Animal Hospital where he was scanned for a microchip.
Thanks to his microchip, he was able to reunite with his owners, who were "so happy to see their sweet Felix."
