2 of Texas' 10 Wanted List offenders arrested in Tyler, Mabank

Santos Ramirez had been wanted since April last year, while Derwin Arline was wanted since June 2022, DPS said.

TYLER, Texas — Two of Texas' 10 Most Wanted List offenders were arrested in East Texas last month. 

Santos Ramirez, 47, was arrested in Mabank on March 16 and Derwin Bernard Arline, 34, was arrested on March 30 in Tyler, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

Ramirez had been wanted since April last year. The Midland County Sheriff’s Office issued a warrant for his arrest for continuous sexual abuse of a child, continuous violence against the family, stalking, interference with emergency request for assistance, failure to identify and two counts of violation of bond/protective order, DPS said. 

The following agencies assisted in his arrest in Mabank: the U.S. Marshals Joint East Texas Fugitive Task Force, including DPS Special Agents, Texas Department of Criminal Justice Office of Inspector General, Texas Attorney General’s Office, Smith County Sheriff’s Office and Tyler Police Department, DPS troopers and Henderson County Sheriff’s Office. 

Arline was wanted since June 2022 when the Panola County Sheriff’s Office issued a warrant for his arrest for aggravated sexual assault of a child, according to DPS.  

In February of this year, the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office issued warrants for Arline’s arrest for aggravated sexual assault of a child and indecency with a child by sexual contact, DPS said. 

Arline was arrested by DPS special agents, the Smith County Sheriff’s Office and members of the U.S. Marshals Joint East Texas Fugitive Task Force in Tyler.
