TEXARKANA, Texas — The Texarkana Police Department has arrested two people they say are responsible for killing three people and injuring three more in a shooting during a recent party.
According to the Texarkana Police Department, the shooting broke out around 9 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 28, in the 700 block of N. Stateline Ave.
Detectives say Devon Hayden, 26, got into a fist fight with a man at the party, which led to Hayden shooting and killing him. Breoskii Warren, 20, then pulled out a rifle and started shooting at Hayden — hitting him and five bystanders, police said. Two of those people who were allegedly shot by Warren later died. Three others were taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Both men have been booked into the Bi-State Jail. Warren's bond has been set at $6.25 million, and Hayden's at $3 million.
