LONGVIEW, Texas — Hallsville High School Band Director Sherri Morgan began her career working with band students of all ages at Hallsville ISD 50 years ago, and she says she's still having too much fun to stop.
Morgan described her position at Hallsville ISD as her dream job and mentions that almost 40 of her former students have gone on to careers in the music field.
Throughout her career at Hallsville, Morgan said in her experience, what students need to achieve success in life hasn’t changed as much as some would believe.
