KILGORE, Texas — The lockdown at Kilgore High School Thursday is no longer active after the FBI determined the threat to be a hoax from Germany.
According to an update from Kilgore ISD, the situation at the high school is under control and no longer active. The FBI determined the threat was a hoax email that originated from Germany.
KISD said the same message has been sent to several other area school districts this week.
