GLADEWATER, Texas — A longtime locally-owned East Texas pharmacy has closed its doors after over 70 years of serving the community.
Walker Pharmacy in Gladewater announced on Facebook that with a heavy heart the business has closed and all of its prescription data has been purchased by CVS Pharmacy of Gladewater.
According to the pharmacy's website, Walker Pharmacy first opened in 1950.
"We have been blessed to serve the Gladewater community for over 50 years and will miss all of the smiling faces that we have come to love and cherish," the pharmacy said. "We will miss you!"
