RUSK COUNTY, Texas — Multiple people were taken to the hospital after a major two-vehicle crash Saturday morning on State Highway 323 and Loop 571 in Rusk County.
The Rusk County Office of Emergency Management said crews responded to the wreck, requiring the launch of a helicopter to airlift people to safety.
Multiple victims have been transported to local hospitals following the wreck, according to the Rusk County OEM. Their exact condition is unknown at this time.
The agency asked that people do not identify the names or vehicles involved in this crash to respect the privacy.
