LONGVIEW, Texas — Crews were able to extinguish a fire reportedly caused by a fire pit in Longview on Sunday night.
According to the Longview Fire Department, crews responded to 102 Brookway Lane at 11:45 p.m. to find visible smoke coming from the home.
After investigating the scene, crews determined the source of flames came from a fire pit that was lit inside of the garage.
No damage or injuries were reported and the flames were extinguished shortly after.
In addition to the Longview Fire Department, three fire engines, two ladder trucks, one ambulance and four support vehicles were on scene of the fire.
