HENDERSON, Texas — A pedestrian was injured Friday night after getting hit by a vehicle on US Highway 79 in Rusk County.
According to the Rusk County Office of Emergency Management, a person was struck by a vehicle driving in the 400 block of US 79 South. They were taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.
The agency said drivers should expect significant traffic delays in this area. Further information is not yet available, Rusk County OEM said.
