LONGVIEW, Texas — A pedestrian was injured Monday morning after being struck by a train in Longview near Cotton Street.
Longview Police spokesperson Brandon Thornton said the collision occurred around 9 a.m. in the 800 block of East Cotton Street between Mobberly Avenue and Second Street.
The pedestrian, who was trying to cross the railroad tracks, was taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries after the crash, Thornton said.
