TYLER, Texas — Renovations are coming to W.E. Winters Park in Tyler.
On Wednesday, the Tyler City Council awarded Paragon Construction and Associates a $240,846 contract for phase one of W.E. Winters Park renovations.
According to the release, renovations will include a new playground, parking lot, restrooms, and pavilion with a pollinator-themed design.

Funding for this project will come from the Keep Tyler Beautiful Park Capital improvements which comes through revenue from the Landfill Access Fee.
The city of Tyler said a fundraiser will be held in the future to fund phase two for W.E. Winters Park renovations. Phase two of renovations will include multipurpose courts, pollinator-themed gardens, pocket play sites and a wildflower field.
