SMITH COUNTY, Texas — Officials are responding to a major house fire in the Chapel Hill area of Smith County.
According to Smith County Emergency Services Dist. 2 (ESD 2), the fire broke out around 8 a.m., at 13473 Phoenix Dr.
Officials say the blaze is slowly being contained. Injuries have not been reported and it's unclear if anyone was home at the time the fire began.
