KILGORE - The Gregg County Crime Stoppers have increased the reward amount to five thousand dollars, for information leading to missing 20 year old Sheryia Grant. This amount combined with the Grant family's reward makes it 10 thousand dollars in total.
Sheryia Grant has been missing since August 20 and was 8 months pregnant at the time. Her due date to have have her baby daughter was September 16. On September 19, Grant's house was destroyed in a fire.
The Kilgore Fire department determined the fire and her missing investigation are not related but the cause of fire is still under investigation.
The Kilgore Police department said Grant's case is considered to be a criminal investigation. Police said Grant could be in danger and they suspect foul play into her disappearance.
