RUSK, Texas — The Rusk Police Department is not allowing traffic onto FM 2972 from HWY 69 north or FM 2972 onto HWY 69 due to low power lines.
According to the police department, HWY 69 is open and just the intersection is affected.
Drivers area asked to avoid the are if possible.
County road 1601, located behind UT Health, travels from FM 2972 to HWY 69 and can be used as an alternate route.
