TYLER, Texas — Peltier Chevrolet is planning to purchase two prominent Kia dealerships in East Texas
According to sources, Peltier Auto Group, who operates three dealerships in Tyler, will purchase Crown Kia locations in Tyler and Longview.
Crown Motor Company is owned by Jack M. King, Jr., formerly of King Chevrolet in Downtown Tyler, which was also purchased by Peltier in 2005 after being in business for nearly 60 years.
Sources say the dealerships will stay with the Kia franchise.
A meeting is planned for later this week between the heads of the two auto groups to discuss staffing.
