WOOD COUNTY, Texas — The wildfire in Wood County that started Tuesday night has been contained.
Texas A&M Forest Service spokesperson Sean Dugan said the fire originally spread to 125 acres but was later shrunk to 62 acres. It has since been fully contained.
According to Wood County Fire Marshal Tully Davidson, the fire was reported between Mineola and Hainesville near County Road 2697.
