BROWNSBORO, Texas — An East Texas elementary school student recently modeled for the 34th Annual Children's Cancer Fund's "A Knight to Remember" Gala in Dallas. She walked the runway with Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott.

Brownsboro Elementary School student Cami C. was chosen as a model for fundraiser event held April 19 at the Hilton Anatole Dallas, according to a Facebook post from Brownsboro ISD.

Cami was one of 23 pediatric cancer patients who participated in the fashion show. The models, who range between the ages of 6 to 17 years old, walk the runway with celebrities at their side.

"We are so thrilled she was able to participate in such an amazing fundraiser, and are so very proud of our little bear! You looked beautiful Cami," the Brownsboro ISD said.

Prescott served as an honorary chairman alongside Troy Aikman, former Dallas Cowboys quarterback turned sports commentator, according to CCF.

This year's gala raised a record-breaking $2 million to fight childhood cancer, the CCF shared in an Instagram post.
