JACKSONVILLE, Texas — A threat against the UT Health Hospital in Jacksonville caused a lockdown Wednesday afternoon.
UT Health East Texas Director of Communications Allison Pollan said the hospital received a threat against the facility and issued a lockdown as a precautionary measure.
According to Pollan, the hospital's security team and local law enforcement are working to resolve the threat.
"The safety of our patients, team members and visitors is our priority," Pollan said.
