SMITH COUNTY, Texas — On Wednesday morning, February 23, 2002 the Smith County Tax Office and all of its substations will be closed for required employee training.
All employees will receive required continuing education training. This includes the main tax office at the Cotton Belt Building in Tyler and the substations in Lindale, Noonday, and Troup.
The tax office is scheduled to reopen later in the day at 1 p.m.
