SMITH COUNTY, Texas — A pedestrian is dead after being struck by a vehicle Monday night.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, around 9:40 p.m., on State Highway 110 N., just north of Tyler, a truck, driven by Raquel Santos, 32, of Tyler, was traveling south on SH 110 and struck a pedestrian, identified as Harold Hagler, 52, of Longview. Hagler was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
