LUFKIN, Texas — The city of Lufkin announced SpringFest that was set for Saturday has been canceled due to a high chance of thunderstorms and rain.
Due to a busy schedule of events, the festival cannot be rescheduled, the city said. The next city-sponsored event will be on July 4 at Ellen Trout Park.
"We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding," the city of Lufkin said.
